Garden Gate Greetings Stork Rental Agreement

By submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all terms outlined in this rental agreement. Rental inquiry form submission and payment serves as your formal acceptance of this agreement.

1. Services & Rental Details

Garden Gate Greetings (“Company”) provides delivery, installation, and removal of a customized decorative stork yard display with a keepsake baby name sign.

  • Rental price (one stork): $125 for 7 days

  • Extensions: $20 per additional day, subject to availability

Keepsake Items (Customer Keeps):

  • Personalized baby bundle name sign (included with stork delivery installation)

  • Sibling name signs (Add-On)

  • Pet name signs (Add-On)

All other items remain Company property and will be removed at the end of the rental period.

2. Booking, Payment, & Scheduling

  • Booking is confirmed only after full payment is received

  • An inquiry does not guarantee availability

  • Company maintains reserve inventory but installation timing may vary based on delivery date and scheduling

3. Property Access, Placement, & Conditions

Customer grants permission for Company to enter the property for installation and removal.

Displays will only be installed in private residential yard areas (not shared/common spaces).

  • Customer may request placement preferences

  • Company has final say on placement based on safety and visibility

Customer must notify Company of:

  • Sprinklers or irrigation systems

  • Underground utilities

  • Any hazards affecting installation

Company is not responsible for damage to lawns, landscaping, or underground systems.

4. Customer Responsibilities & Use

During the rental period, Customer agrees to:

  • Not move, alter, or tamper with the display

  • Keep children, pets, and lawn crews away

  • Not attach additional decorations (balloons, signs, etc.)

Customer is responsible for ensuring compliance with HOA rules, landlord policies, and local regulations.
No refunds will be issued for violations or required removal.

5. Damage, Loss, & Safety

Customer is responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of rental items.

Replacement costs include:

  • Stork: $200

  • Other components: billed as needed

Invoices for damages are due upon receipt. Failure to pay may result in collection action and additional fees.

The display is decorative only and not intended for climbing or interaction.
Company is not liable for injuries or accidents involving the display.

6. Weather, Cancellations & Changes

Installations occur rain or shine. Company may delay service only in severe or unsafe weather conditions.

Cancellation Policy:

  • 1 week: refund minus processing fees

  • Less than 1 week: no refund

  • After installation: no refunds

No refunds for early removal due to HOA, landlord, or external issues.

7. Additional Terms

  • Gift purchasers are responsible for agreement compliance

  • Company may photograph displays for marketing unless Customer opts out in writing before installation

  • Company’s liability is limited to the amount paid

  • Customer agrees to pay all applicable fees, damages, and collection costs

  • This Agreement is governed by North Carolina law
